Created in France during short Régence period which saw the transition of power between the Sun King and his great grandson and heir Louis XV who was still too young to reign, this walnut pair of French communication doors features a perfectly harmonious arrangement of four rows of panels adorned with raised and molded accents. The doors are fitted with handsome iron hardware with scrolling motifs and stylized fleur-de-lys complimenting the linearity of the silhouette beautifully. The size of the panels alternates nicely on the façade, thus creating a lively effect. The doors are elegant seen on both sides. With its clean lines and great walnut patina, this pair of French Régence period communication doors circa 1730 will bring a touch of majesty to any room. The doors are sold as seen in the pictures, with no extra hardware or framing. The dimensions are for the frame: 52.3″ W x 101.5″ H x 2.5″ D. The doors themselves are: 48.5″ W x 97.3″ H.
