Often times you would see Gladding McBean and almost all of the architecturally prominent buildings in Los Angeles. Gladding McBean made some of the most beautiful tile and pottery during the 1920s. These Architectural friezes’ were salvaged out of the Los Angeles area and feature a beautiful Silver metallic glaze. The Art Deco detailing with the streamline details and fruits line the corners of each frieze and compliment each piece with charm. You can see in the details that this piece has some grazing in the glaze which adds to the character. There is a total of four friezes with the column detail going up the heights of the frieze Which are being sold as a set. The other two Can be included in the deal but does make for more a cumbersome measurement. Please note: if you are interested in all 6 pieces you must inquire ahead of time. Each panel measures about 35 1/2 inches tall by 29 inches wide give or take. The larger tiles at each end measure 41 inches wide by 35 1/2 inches tall Depth is about 4 inches less
