The religious sculpture features … more This antique polychrome wood statue of St. Nicholas of Tolentino was carved in Italy, circa 1680. The religious sculpture features the Saint dressed in traditional robes standing and holding a theological book. Next to him, a young boy is kneeling and praying. The figure is in wonderful condition with its well maintained original paint finish. Known as the Saint patron of holy souls, St. Nicholas was born in 1246, and died in 1306. He was canonized in 1446 by Pope Eugene IV. Measures: 11″ W x 12″ D x 39.5″ H. less
