DeKoven started his career as an apprentice at Taliesin for Frank Lloyd Wright and went on to become Wright’s chief architect.PROVENANCEFence panels for the Hyde Park Redevelopment project (1503-19 East 56th Street, Chicago, IL) near the University of Chicago. The last photograph shows the fence panels as they were originally installed behind the townhouses in 1960 (Photograph courtesy: Cultural Historian, City of Chicago). Architect: Harry Weese (American, 1915-98).
