This sink presents itself very well, looking excellent from all angles. Overall the porcelain is in very good condition with … more This sink presents itself very well, looking excellent from all angles. Overall the porcelain is in very good condition with a nice glossy finish and relatively little wear to be found for an 85 year old piece such as this. There is some roughness on the left near the faucet hole, a 2.7″ etched ring in the bottom of the bowl that has the appearance of a watermark left on a table, and some dings along the front bottom edge that have been blended in somewhat with paint. The sides and front look very good overall, and the rest looks good, with nothing beyond slight blemishes from normal wear to be found. The handles and faucet holes are nearly corrosion free, and amazingly the water overflow grate has no rust, There is some around the drain hole that was covered by the chrome piece that was there. That ring, along with the rest of the hardware, was removed as the pieces were not equal to the condition of the rest of the sink. The towel bar was retained. This piece is in very good overall condition with no damage and good looking chrome. It is removable and can be installed on either side or the front. The underside of the sink looks good. The paint is not perfect, but it looks OK, and it can be seen that there is little corrosion to be found. The pedestal is in fine shape with nothing to point out beyond some small chips at floor level. The rest looks excellent overall. The lighting made it look darker in a couple pictures.*** This piece is described in greater detail than is normally found, as the camera likes to hide blemishes with items such as this.
