At the time, these glass knobs were very popular and adorned most of the neo-classical style mansions in the south and east coast. Amazingly, they are still very stylish to this day.The knob has a permanently attached 1/4” spindle with 20 threads per inch that allows for attachment to another knob with a threaded opening. The additional knob allows the hardware to fit doors from 1.5” to 2” thick. Remarkably the mirrored interior finish is in excellent condition with no flaking or dark spots as most of these knobs acquire throughout the years.
